Pain Relief

One commonly used, natural treatment for pain is prolotherapy, often called prolo. By injecting a solution of vitamins and nutrients, the body's own natural healing patterns are restored and expedited. That is to say, prolotherapy stimulates healing. For more on prolotherapy, see our Prolotherapy page.

Our Pain Relief Approach | Addressing the Cause

Did you know that 98% of pain is caused by issues with joints, ligaments, tendons, or muscles? Because of this, most of our pain management techniques focus on these areas. At Real Health, we address the cause, instead of masking symptoms. Rather than just relieving pain, we fix the problem that is causing the pain.

For those patients who have struggled with pain for years and have been told that surgery is the only option, we have new options for you. Even if you’ve had surgery and have had little relief from pain, contact us today to discuss natural options to relieving your pain for good.

Trigger Point

Frequently pain is caused by a central trigger point, or sensitive spot related to a tight muscle. By treating pain at its source—the trigger point—other pain associated with it also decreases. Trigger points have referral patterns, causing pain in areas distant from the actual point of origin. For example, if someone suffers from neck pain, it could be caused by trigger points in the back. By injecting a natural pain solution into those trigger points, tension in the neck releases and pain goes away. As always, treatment varies from patient to patient. If you are suffering from pain or chronic muscle tension, schedule a consultation in our office today!

Neural Therapy

Also called NT, this therapy can be used to treat dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system, or ANS. The ANS controls many things including activation and relaxation of muscles and other body functions. Sometimes when the ANS doesn’t function properly, a muscle, gland or physiology can get stuck in the on or off position. This can cause many types of symptoms including muscle tension, migraines, fibromyalgia and other neurological symptoms just to name a few. With careful injecting, scars, glands, trigger points, acupuncture points, ligaments, and other precise locations with procaine (a safe anesthetic) and homeopathic solutions, relief is possible.

Acupuncture is another treatment method for pain and other symptoms. It comes from thousands of years of Chinese medicine philosophy. Acupuncture alone has helped many more people improve their health than any other treatment or medical protocol. There’s no need to be afraid of acupuncture needles as they are very thin. You will hardly feel them during the treatment, but these tiny needles do a great deal of good.
